India stands one step ahead in Hyperloop technology, as Niti Aayog is in progress in finalizing its report on technological & commercial feasibility for the adoption of Hyperloop technology in India. This important final report will be produced by the end of November 2022.
In November 2020, a committee was formed headed by Niti Aayog member Dr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat. This committee was responsible for the adoption of high-speed transportation system in India, which is conceptualized to carry both passengers & cargo. This kind of transportation system consists of a sealed tube with a pod with minimal air resistance which can travel up to 1200 kmph.
