Elon Musk now owns Twitter & all of it sold in a deal worth $44 Billion. The company’s 11 member board officials met Elon Musk to discuss his offer to buy the social networking giant. It has been seen that social networking giant Twitter sells itself to Elon Musk. Mr. Musk wanted to make this micro-blogging platform private & hence freedom of speech will be the main priority but that too considering the limitations within different nations. “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” Musk said in a statement included in the press release announcing the $44 billion deal. “I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots, and authenticating all humans. Twitter has tremendous potential — I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it.”
Twitter from now onwards will be controlled by the world’s richest man & in the end Elon Musk bought Twitter at USD 54.20 a share, which is the same as the initial offer earlier this month.
