Green Tribunal today announced to ban all BS4 Commercial & Private Vehicles which are already 15 years old. Green Tribunal ordered to take necessary action within 6 months from today 26th July, 2022. This immediate action was taken to prevent pollution caused by BS4 vehicles. Instead of BS4, BS6 cars will run in Kolkata and Howrah from now onwards. The pollution control board has been directed to prepare an action plan in coordination with the police.
